Though losing its glory after the shifting of the capital to Delhi and due to continuous political turmoil still the city attracts lots of people from around the globe because of its vibrant warmth. The city has developed along the banks of the holy river Ganges over the years.

    Kolkata to Darjeeling: DAY 01: KOLKATA – BAGDOGRA – GANGTOK
    Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra and drive to Gangtok (114Km/4.5Hrs). At an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Take a rest and then a walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in. overnight at hotel.

    Kolkata to Darjeeling: DAY 02: GANGTOK SIGHTSEEING
    mirik lake Kolkata to DarjeelingMorning starts the half day sightseeing in and around this capital city of Sikkim, covering Enchey Monastery, Chortan (Stupa), Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms (Closed on Sunday) and, after Roomtek Monastery & Dharma Chakra Centre (24Kms/45Mins), the sect of the Kagyu order – one of the 4 major Tibetan Buddhist Sect. Evening free at Gangtok for leisure and individual activity.

    Kolkata to Darjeeling: DAY 03: EXCURSION TRIP TO TSOMGO LAKE
    AM start for a half day trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), which is only 32kms from Gangtok City, the lake is almost about 1Km long, oval in shape and 15Mt deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people, Evening free at Gangtok for leisure and individual activity.

    Kolkata to Darjeeling: DAY 04: GANGTOK TO PEMAYANGTSE
    Morning transfer to Pemayangtse (123kms/6.5hrs). Evening free for individual activity and leisure. Overnight at hotel.

    Kolkata to Darjeeling: DAY 05: PEMAYANGTSE SIGHTSEEING
    After breakfast start for half day sightseeing in an around Pemayangtse, covering Rimbi Falls, Sacred Khechodpalri Lake, Kanchendzonga Falls, Pemayangtse Monastery – the 2nd oldest monastery of Sikkim, return to hotel for lunch, evening free for individual activity and leisure.

    Kolkata to Darjeeling: DAY 06: PEMAYANGTSE TO DARJEELING
    Tiger Hill Darjeeling Kolkata to Darjeeling Morning transfer to Darjeeling (128kms/5hrs). Dorje, the mystic thunderbolt of the Lama-Religion was the origin of the name Darjeeling, which was first discovered by British in the year 1829 by Captain Lloyd.Surrounded by tea gardens Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm which will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature & charming Himalayan people. This little town faces some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. Overnight at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

    Kolkata to Darjeeling: DAY 07: DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING
    Early morning a start for Tiger Hill Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the Hotel. Breakfast at the Hotel followed by half day local sightseeing covering Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center (Closed on Sunday) and visit to the Mall and Local Market (Closed on Thursday). Evening Free for shopping & individual activity, overnight at hotel.

    Kolkata to Darjeeling: DAY- 08: DARJEELING – BAGDOGRA/NJP
    Morning Transfer to Bagdogra Airport / NJP (95kms / 3Hrs), Tour ENDS.
