Begin to explore Beijing from paying a visit first to the largest and grandest square in the world – Tiananmen Square. As walking through the square, you will come to the magnificent Forbidden City, the biggest palace complex in the world. After A La Carte lunch,go on to appreciate the fantastic Summer Palace, the biggest and best-preserved imperial garden so far.At night, the dinner is arranged to let you taste mouthwatering and authentic Peking Duck. The sightseeing today starts from exploring the great Temple of Heaven where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties had worshipped heaven and prayed for good harvest. Afterwards, you will be guided to the snaking Mutianyu Great Wall, an uncrowded section with comfortable round trip cable car to take and picturesque scenery to enjoy. As for lunch, it will be offered at an elegant restaurant at the foot of the Great Wall. Then take a chance to have a close view of the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube on the way back to hotel. After breakfast,pay a visit of the Lama Temple. Then, you will hop on a rickshaw to ride through the narrow alleys for a Hutong Tour, and pay a visit of a local family as well as have the lunch with local neighborhoods. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Xian. Upon your arrival at Xian, your local guide will meet you at airport and then transfer to the hotel. The highlight of the tour today lies in the world-shaking Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses where you might be shocked by the rows of life-size warriors in order. After lunch,transfer to visit the ancient Xian City Wall and the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China, Great Mosque, you will have some free time to wander around the well know Muslim street nearby. In the morning, visit the Xian Museum and The Small Wild Goose Pagoda Scenic Area. It is an important cultural relic and one of the remaining symbols of ancient Chang’an (the name of Xian in the Tang Dynasty). Beijing Double Happiness Courtyard Hotel: Nestle among the historical blocks in East District of Beijing, the Double Happiness Courtyard Beijing Hotel is a small inn opened in 2007 yet has become outstandingly popular among travelers from both domestic and abroad. The hotel is allegedly the former private residence of Ji Xiaolan, a prominent scholar and dignitary from Qing Dynasty, therefore the hotel took an advantage of the original structure and made it the most appealing feature. The hotel is a Siheyuan (四合院), a traditional characteristic architectural style usually found in Beijing. Aside from that, the hotel is also surrounded by a sea of Hutong (胡同, narrow lanes and alleys), another characteristic structures of the old Beijing. The Double Happiness Courtyard Hotel didn’t made many changes to the original structure, only outfitted it with certain necessary modern facilities, so it still appears generally as a mansion from imperial time of China. This has made the hotel exceptionally popular among tourist and won it the title of “Travelers’ Choice 2013”.Tang Dynasty Art Garden Hotel: Tang Dynasty Art Garden Hotel is positioned at a distinguished location in the time-honored old town Xian, right of the northern square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, among the biggest musical fountain of Asia, the 1,300 years old Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Dacien Temple and the Datang Furong Park. The hotel’s exterior and interior are totally designed and furbished following the Tang Dynasty architectural style, which makes it appears to be a resplendent mansion or even a governmental venue from the past.
The hotel was opened in early 2009, and less than half an hour drive from the Bell Tower and Drum Tower, the center of the city of Xian.The White House Hotel Guilin: White House Hotel Guilin is a 4-star hotel just opened in September 2012 in Guilin, Guangxi, southwest China. The hotel was originally the private residence of a respected general, Bai Chongxi, of the early 20th century, hence the title (Bai literally translates into “white” in English). The hotel is in fact partially a museum, displaying an impressive amount of precious antiques at every corner of the hotel, including piano, gramophone, radio, clock, vases, furniture and series more. So as to conform to these pieces, the hotel’s interior decoration is evidently modeled on resplendent mansions in 1930s, with old-fashioned wooden staircase and carpet, chandeliers, table lamps, rotary dial telephones and the likes. The hotel is as well equipped with modern facilities like conference rooms, laundry rooms, foreign currency exchange and wifi coverage within the whole structure.
Yangshuo Green Lotus Hotel: Green Lotus Hotel, located in the central area of the Yangshuo County, right besides the stunning Lijiang River, is a 4-star hotel opened in late 2008. Considering its surroundings of the key habitat for minority groups, the hotel is designed and furbished in a combination of the modern, well-equipped hotel and the traditional minority group architectural style. The hotel currently encompasses 333 rooms and suites. The Green Lotus Hotel is also within reasonable distance to West Street, an over-500-meter old street lined up with hundreds of stores and eateries, which is one of the most popular tourism hot spots in Yangshuo.
Hengshan Moller Villa: Hengshan Moller Villa is situated at No. 30, South Shaanxi Road, Shanghai, which covers an area of more than 5,000 square meters. The garden area of Moller Villa is nearly 2000 square meters. It is the only one hotel rebuilt from the first class modern protected buildings in China. The villa was first established in 1927 and completed in 1936, the main buildings of which is a three-floor Scandinavia and Norway style building that seems like a castle in fairy tale world. In 2001, Moller Villa was repaired comprehensively by Shanghai Hengshan Group guided by the thought of history and function, the original architectural style was preserved.
