Torres del Paine National Park is located in Chilean Patagonia, more specifically in the Magallanes Region, was declared “Biosphere Reserve” by UNESCO in 1978, the unmistakable geography of this park makes it one of the most interesting places in the south hemisphere and one of the less polluted ones. Torres del Paine National park is among the most recognizable landscapes in the world, for its extraordinary and diverse natural beauty.

Day 1: Transport to Torres del Paine National Park (Regular Bus).Regular – Public transportation from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine National Park (Laguna Amarga Main Entrance), the trip lasts about two and a half hours (112 Km), with a short stop at Cerro Castillo Village.
At the moment you arrive to Laguna Amarga entrance you will have to acquire your entrance ticket which can only be purchased on arrival locally and take the shuttles that will be waiting for you to take you to Las Torres sector where our Refugio is located.Presentation time at the Bus Station: 14.15 PM
Departure: 14:30 PM / Arrival to Laguna Amarga: 16:30 PMAccommodation: Refugio Torre Central.
W Trek Special
Day 2: Trekking to “BASE TORRES” (7 & 8 hours; 13 Km).
Recommended hour to start: 9.00 AM.The first hour and a half walking is steep with fantastic views of lake Nordenskjöld and Almirante Nieto Mn (2.670 m.s.n.m), with it’s hanging glacier until you reach Refugio El Chileno to recover energies and leave your luggage. Then carrying just a small back pack, you will continue the trail through a millenary Lenga forest (1 hour) until the base of “the moraine” which challenging ascent (45 min), will take you to one of the most impressive lookouts in the park: “Base of Torres del Paine” where you will have the view of Torre Sur (2,850 m.s.n.m.), Torre Central (2.800 m.s.n.m), Torre Norte (2.600 m.s.n.m) and Cerro Nido de Cóndor.
Accommodation: Refugio El Chileno / If this Refugio is full, the way back will be until Torre Central (2 hours more of trekking)

Day 3: Trekking from El Chileno to Los Cuernos Refugio (4 – 5 hours, 11 Km).
Recommended hour to start: 9.00 AM.About 30 minutes after leaving Refugio El Chileno you will notice the sign to take the “shortcut” that leads to Refugio Los Cuernos. The trail goes through the Base of Almirante Nieto Mn. – part of the Paine Massif-, with great views to Nordenskjöld lake; from December the flora presents different colours specially the “Ciruelillo or Fire Bush” which take its name from the red colour of its flowers. After about 4 – 5 hours you will get to the Base of Los Cuernos where our Refugio is located, considered by many, one of the most charming sites in the whole park, a perfect spot to rest and recover energies for the next day challenging trek: “The French Valley”.
Accommodation: Refugio Los Cuernos (we recommend Cabins Los Cuernos, you may check the upgrade rate below, don´t forget your swimming suit for the HOT TUB, shared service for Cabin´s guests).

Day 4: Trekking to French Valley / Domos el Francés (8 – 10 hours, 20 Km).
Recommended hour to start: 8.00 AM.After 1 hour from Los Cuernos you will arrive to the Sign of Francés sector, in that point you have to take the trail and after 5 minutes you will arrive to Domes Francés, were you will have to leave you big backpack and take just your small one (with food, water & warm clothes). Then and after 1 hour you will arrive to “Campamento Italiano”. The ascent goes for about 1 hour and a half until French Glacier lookout, where you’ll be able to observe its hanging glacier and opportunities to observe small avalanches. After that the trail continues until “Campamento Británico” and after about 20 minutes you will reach the lookout point considered by many as one of the most overwhelming spots in the Circuit: “Mirador Británico”, where you will admire: “Paine Grande”, “Cerro Hoja”, “Cerro Máscara”, “Cerro Catedral”, “Cerro Aleta de Tiburón”, “Cuerno Norte”. The return is the same way back to “Campamento Italiano”, and then to Domos Francés.

Day 5: Trekking to Grey sector (6 – 8 hours, 21.6 Km).
Recommended hour to start: 9.00 AM.Trek from Francés sector to Grey. Starting from Francés, is about 1 hour to “Campamento Italiano” from this point you continue to Pahoe sector and then take the trail to Grey. The trail goes through the western side of the Paine Massif with views to Grey Lake and Mountains. After 1 hour and a half you will reach the first lookout point, where you may observe Grey Glacier in the distance, then and after 1 and a half / two hours you will get to the Main lookout, in front of the glacier.
Accommodation: Refugio Grey
Difficulty Level: Medium.W Trek Special
Day 6: Trekking to Pehoe sector + Catamarán + Transfer to Puerto Natales (3 – 4 hours, 11 Km).The return is the same way back until Pehoé Lake to take the Catamaran that crosses Pehoe Lake to Pudeto sector, where your bus will be waiting for you to take you back to Puerto Natales.
Difficulty Level: Medium.
Catamaran Schedule Options:
18:30 Catamaran / presentation time at pier: 18.00 – arrival to Bus Station in Puerto Natales: 22.00 hrs aprox.
12:30 Catamaran / presentation time at pier: 12.00 – arrival to Bus Station in Puerto Natales: 16:30 hrs aprox.
OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS:
ICE HIKING IN GREY GLACIER (5 HR)
(8.30 / 14.30) This amazing tour begins at Grey base camp, located at 10 minutes from Refugio Grey. Here the guides will provide the necessary equipment: Ice Axe, Crampons, harness, helmet and briefing; afterwards you will approach to the glacier in a Zodiac and begin exploring this awesome Glacier for 3 hours, finally you will return by zodiac to the Shore. After this excursion you will begin the return to Pehoe sector to take the catamaran.KAYAK IN GREY GLACIER (2,5 HR)
(10.00, 14.00, 18.00) This unforgettable tour starts from the Grey base camp at 10 minutes from Refugio Grey. Here the guides make the safety briefing and give you the necessary equipment. Afterwards you will carry the kayaks some meters to the edge of the shore to start exploring the Lake, visiting icebergs and approaching to the Glacier if weather conditions permit it. After this excursion you will begin the return to Pehoe sector to take the catamaran. -

Programs Starting at 14.30 PM: guests must come to our Office in Puerto Natales, the day before or the same day (day 1) before 1 PM, where you will receive the vouchers, tickets and briefing.
Opening hours Puerto Natales sales office: Monday to Friday: 9.00 – 13.00 / 15.00 – 18.30; Saturday: 9.00 – 18.30; Sundays & holidays: Closed.
In Chile we have a Foreign franchise (Chilean Law) to improve tourism, where tourists are exempted of paying the tax of 19% at the check in, for this purpose please do not forget to bring: – Passport – Tourist card (given at the border when entering to Chile).
